Translate text

Use Translate text to prepare a translation of a complete Article in a selected language. It translates the title and body while preserving claims, numbers, voice, and Markdown formatting. This Skill uses the whole Article, even when you have selected a passage.

Open the Article's Translations view and choose New translation…. Select a target language and confirm the request. If the source has unsaved edits, save them as a Revision first so the result is tied to the text you intend to translate.

Example

Ask for a draft translation of Ana's river scene, preserving the dialogue, point of view, quiet mood, names, and protected text. Use Edit to open a linked translation Article, or Update to add the result as a new Revision to an existing one.

The translation remains separate from its source. See Translations for comparing results, updating a linked Article, and handling stale results.
